WHAT VOLUNTEERS DO
Our volunteers serve at each of our live performances. At each event, up to five volunteers perform a variety of tasks: setting up the theater before shows, selling and taking tickets, serving concessions, staffing merchandise tables, and general maintenance and clean-up after the shows. And they also have a lot of fun!
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
The nature of work required for volunteer shifts are often fast-paced and varied; we currently ask that volunteers have the ability to see, hear, and communicate in English. Some volunteer activities require the following: ascending and descending stairs, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, basic money-handling mathematics, handling of a point-of-sale system, and handling concessions. If you have any questions or concerns about these requirements, please reach out! We will work with you to find a volunteer role that suits you best.
PERKS OF VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers are often able to hear some or even all of the performance for an event they work. They also earn credit towards free passes good for future shows. We provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment working alongside music fans of all ages from diverse backgrounds.
GETTING STARTED
It is recommended that every Kenyon Hall volunteer download and read through our Volunteer Onboarding Handbook and come ready to learn and have fun! We have many people that have volunteered at the Hall for years; it’s easy to get a hang of with a little help from veteran volunteers and members from the community!

Volunteers under 18 who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are required to have agreed to this separate disclaimer/waiver for minor volunteers prior to or on the day of the volunteer project. Without it, the minor will not be able to volunteer. A parent or legal guardian of each minor must read and agree to the following:

PHOTO/MEDIA RELEASE
To recognize the great work of our volunteers, we post photos on our social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), on our website or in print materials. If you would not like any potential photos or videos to be shared please make note of that in your profile.
Thanks,
